As Exclusive Commercial Partner of Uniatlantico Shipping, Combi Lift is pleased to announce the launch of a new semi-liner service connecting India with Southern Africa. The opening sailing, operated by MV UNISKY, is scheduled to depart from Mumbai in November 2026, offering new transport opportunities for a wide range of cargo types.
Combining the flexibility of tramp shipping with the accessibility of a liner service, the new connection provides customers with a versatile shipping solution for project cargo, breakbulk, general cargo, steel and containers.
Versatile Cargo Capabilities
The service will be operated by MV UNISKY, a multipurpose tweendecker equipped to accommodate a variety of cargo requirements. Built in 2006, the vessel offers a deadweight capacity of 9,747 tonnes, two Liebherr cranes with a combined lifting capacity of 75 tonnes, and approximately 3,560 m² of cargo space across the tanktop, tweendeck and weather deck. In addition, MV UNISKY provides a container intake of up to 474 TEU.
These capabilities make the vessel a flexible option for customers seeking reliable transport solutions for conventional and specialised cargo.
