Your main responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, coordinate and follow up our crewing activities worldwide from recruiting and contracting to payroll
- Maintain a close communication with the crew and establish a personal connection. In addition, be the link to the onshore ship management team
- Support our goal to compose good teams on board by monitoring the crew’s performance and accompany them through our crew development process of training and promotion
- Review and verify validity of all necessary certificates to ensure compliance with flag state and international requirements
- Update the Crew Management System with the required data
- Manage financial budgets and cost control for your dedicated vessel
Your profile:
- Preferably 3 years of experience as Crew or HR Manager/Operator or similar position
- Like to work in an international environment and have good English language skills
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Independent and resourceful team player, able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Analytical and proactive in problem solving
- Profound knowledge of STCW and MLC requirements
- Profound knowledge of special requirements for German flagged vessels
