As Procurement & Subcontracts Manager at Combi Lift, you will oversee the sourcing, contracting, and management of all logistics services for large-scale EPC projects. From heavy-lift transport and marine chartering to customs clearance, warehousing, and site logistics, you will ensure every contract is awarded competitively, delivered on time, and meets the highest quality and HSE standards.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies for logistics services in line with project timelines and budgets
  • Identify, prequalify, and select service providers including freight forwarders, transport companies, marine charter operators, and customs agents
  • Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs with clear technical, commercial, and HSE requirements; evaluate bids and lead negotiations
  • Draft, review, and administer logistics subcontracts from award to close-out, including variations and claims
  • Monitor subcontractor performance through KPIs on safety, delivery, compliance, and cost control
  • Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to meet cargo handling requirements, including oversized and hazardous shipments
  • Ensure full compliance with contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements
  • Manage budgets, approve invoices, and identify cost savings without compromising service quality
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key logistics suppliers; conduct audits and resolve disputes promptly

 

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or PMP are an advantage
  • 8–12 years of procurement and subcontract management experience, preferably in EPC or large-scale industrial projects
  • Proven track record in heavy-lift, oversized cargo, marine chartering, and multimodal transport procurement
  • In-depth knowledge of INCOTERMS, FIDIC (or similar), and customs regulations
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and contract administration expertise
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MS Office
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
  • Solid understanding of HSE and quality requirements in logistics
