As QHSE Manager at Combi Lift, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving our Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental management systems across marine transport, heavy-lift logistics, EPC project cargo, and onshore/offshore activities. You will ensure compliance with international standards, client requirements, and regional regulations while fostering a proactive safety culture and driving operational excellence.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead the development and governance of the Integrated QHSE Management System in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
- Define QHSE policies, objectives, and KPIs, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy
- Oversee QHSE performance across offices, ports, project sites, and offshore operations in the MEA region
- Ensure risk assessments, method statements, and HAZID/HAZOP studies are completed for high-risk activities
- Monitor operations for compliance with project-specific and legal requirements
- Promote a safety-first culture through leadership engagement, training, and recognition programs
- Deliver QHSE induction and ongoing training for employees, contractors, and visitors
- Ensure compliance with UAE, MEA regional, and international regulations
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, audits, and QHSE performance data
- Prepare QHSE reports for management, clients, and regulators
- Lead incident investigations, implementing corrective and preventive actions
- Identify and implement best practices for continuous improvement in quality, safety, and environmental performance
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related discipline
- Recognised QHSE certifications such as NEBOSH International Diploma, IOSH, and ISO Lead Auditor (9001, 14001, 45001)
- 8–10 years of QHSE management experience in heavy-lift logistics, EPC, or marine/offshore operations
- Strong knowledge of ISO management systems and relevant HSE legislation
- Proven ability to manage QHSE across multi-country MEA operations
- Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage
- Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and influencing abilities
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in risk management
- Proficient in QHSE management software and MS Office Suite
