Traineeship – Maritime Chartering

SAL Heavy Lift, a part of the Harren Group and a member of the Jumbo-SAL-Alliance, is one of the world’s leading carriers specialised in sea transport of heavy-lift and project cargo. We are owning and operating a versatile fleet of 30 advanced project cargo vessels with a lifting capacity of up to 3,000 t SWL. Our guiding principle is: If there is water, there is a way. Tackle diverse and challenging shipments and maritime logistics projects in an international environment. We work with you to customise our modular 12 to 14 month traineeship in Hamburg in line with your interests and career plans.

Your profile:

  • You hold a B.Sc. or Master’s degree in Maritime Management, Shipping, Trade & Transport or  international logistics with a focus on the maritime industry
  • You have international experience through work or studies
  • You thrive in a multinational team environment where teamwork is essential
  • You have excellent social skills and a global mindset
  • Your English level is excellent
