Traineeship – Maritime Chartering

SAL Heavy Lift, a part of the Harren Group and a member of the Jumbo-SAL-Alliance, is one of the world’s leading carriers specialised in sea transport of heavy-lift and project cargo. We are owning and operating a versatile fleet of 30 advanced project cargo vessels with a lifting capacity of up to 3,000 t SWL. Our guiding principle is: If there is water, there is a way. We work with you to customise our modular 12 to 14 month traineeship in Hamburg in line with your interests and career plans.

Your profile:

  • You hold a B.Sc. or Master’s degree in Maritime Management, Shipping, Trade & Transport or  international logistics with a focus on the maritime industry
  • You have international experience through work or studies
  • You thrive in a multinational team environment where teamwork is essential
  • You have excellent social skills and a global mindset
  • Your English level is excellent
